It's Been Awhile ...

Not a lot of chat from me this time, even though it's been awhile since I posted anything. There isn't much to tell being the reason. Just enjoying my free time, reading lots of books, watching movies I didn't have the time for before, staying in a lot because of the horrible weather, going to England next week and spending loads of time with my lovely nieces who are getting so big.

Caitlin loves wearing my shoes. Doesn't matter which shoes they are, if they are not on my feet, they are on Caitlin's.

Bella is a cheeky little devil at times. In for a laugh and usually the cause of any laughter going. She is so funny!

And cute. She is also very, very cute.

Caitlin has found the remnants of a tea set that Jennifer and I used to play with at my grandmother's house. Now she plays with it at her grandmother's house. I can get a huge kick out of things like that.

She's not always keen to pose for pictures, though. This being her "smile face". Hahahaha. Her real smile is much prettier.

Yep, that really is all from me for now. I'll post way more when I get back from England. And we have my trip to the Sziget festival to look forward to! xxx

Procrastinators Unite! ... Tomorrow.

I seem to be having difficulty getting my act in gear. There's a whole list of things I want to get done but I am not getting them done.

For example. That horribly pustule of evil that is my research paper. Nowhere near done. Nowhere near getting a first draft typed out let alone looked at. Nowhere near wanting to even look out the files on my laptop to get the framework going. Ick. The thought of the darn thing makes me want to curl into a ball and go to sleep. So I'll put it off until tomorrow.

Then there's all the random and useless paperwork lying around my apartment. With useful and important paperwork hidden in amongst it. I have oceans of time to sort it out now. But I have only made a teeny tiny dent. Ugh. There's just so much of it. I'll start that on Wednesday after I've been to the gym. Probably.

Other than the things I am putting off, though, I have had a lovely first week of vacation. I've really enjoyed myself so far. Despite going to the gym on nearly a daily basis. Hahaha. Actually, I think that may be part of the fun. Doing something active and seeing/feeling the results.

Last Friday was my family's Move to Holland Anniversary. We've been here 14 years now. For Jenn that meant she could celebrate a half and half anniversary. Half of her life in Germany, half in Holland. Okay, not if you count from her birthday, but whatever. Close enough, really. I have to wait three more years for mine. Jenn and I went out to Sub and had a good laugh together. Good thing we like each other because we didn't really see anyone else we knew until we left!

Right, I have to leave for the gym in half an hour so I guess I'd better get something productive done. Nothing major, you understand. Just fun stuff.

I wasn't going to post a blog about this but the more I see the pictures, the more I want to share this with people who don't live on the 30 Seconds to Mars forum, like I do.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, the band pitched in and helped build a Habitat for Humanity home in Los Angeles, California. Recently some pictures from the build were posted online and that is what I am sharing with you.
