Bits and Bobs
Firstly, I really don't like how the pictures get loaded into my text area. Why can't the picture just go where I left my cursor? And why do some pictures have a "click on me to see me bigger" option and others don't when I've published my blog? Is that because I had the audacity to move them around? I am also at a loss as to why my very clear paragraphs and spaces get taken out. I leave a line between each paragraph. They don't always show up. What gives?

Also, what am I going to do by way of job? As of August 1st I no longer have an income and, while I am financially okay and don't need to worry for awhile about work, I would actually like to have some idea what I would like to do.
Not sure about teaching. Maybe just because I am not happy with it at the moment but it's also the idea of starting over at another school. I have my niche at the OSB (uncomfortable as it may sometimes be) and I know how everything works. Rediscovery at another school is huge. And the very thought makes me tired.
If this is a mid-life crisis I am screwed. Mostly because I would like to get older than 62 but also because ... well, this sucks. Up until now all of my choices and paths have kind of fallen into my lap. I have never actually had to decide to do something. I have never had to apply for a job. They just got handed to me. Now I have the freedom to explore what I would like to do and go after it and I really have no idea where to start looking.
The vast amount of possibilities (or not) is confusing and it's throwing me off my focus.
So yeah, I am not really scared as I don't need a job in order to have an income at the moment but I am a bit worried about my lack of ambition or inspiration.
What do I want to do?

Adventures in the UK
Edinburgh May 9th and 10th
It started out rather ominously with an announced strike at the airport (in the end only our flight was delayed - by an hour) but we made it to Edinburgh and the headlining concert just in time. Got really close to the stage and was near enough at one point (when Jared jumped into the crowd we kind of surged forward, whether you liked it or not) to spit on Jared's face. Didn't think to until after we'd moved back to where we started. Had a blast singing along to all the songs and hanging out with my Dutch pals during the gig. They all got wristbands for the signing (I was too late) so after the show finished I found some other unluckies and we hung out outside waiting for the rest to be finished getting stuff signed.
Me, Adee and Joannah (you should be able to click the picture for a bigger version)

Loads of Dutchies and a Greek, Swiss and French girl thrown in for good measure.

I love this one of me and Marie
This is my favourite picture of the show. It is now my wallpaper as well. :)
Miriam and I went back to the hotel quite quickly after we were ushered out. We were both really tired and our beds were calling to us. Shannon came out afterwards for a bit but the rest of the guys were MIA.
Sleep was good.
On Monday we headed into Covent Garden and (in my case, anyway) did some window shopping. After a full day of that we headed to Heathrow again to catch our late flight home. Tired but very happy we arrived in the Netherlands just after 10:30pm.
This made me giggle every single time. I know, I am so mature.
