I have wanted to donate hair to a charity making wigs for children with cancer for years. Today, I finally made the cut (partial pun inteded) and got my act together. I had ±35cm of my hair cut off and I am going to send it to Stichting Haarwensen (

And then I felt light-headed! There is literally a weight off! Anyone who has seen my hair "live" knows there was a serious amount of it and now I have been liberated, in a sense. I have an über curly bob and, after 11 hours of it, I can honestly say that I love it.
All curls are natural and ... persistant! I have to say, I am loving it! And the best part ... there's going to be a kid somewhere who gets to wear my hair and feel better for it! WIN!!

Holy smokes! Love the new 'do, love that you are donating it to charity (I did that once, but my new cut wasn't as cute as yours, in fact mine was AWFUL and I cried about it ever day for probably 6 months).
I still have to say that I'm jealous of your bob. Too cute!
